www.clicktoimpact.com tips & blogs

Tip:

How strong is your foundation?

Marketing is more than advertising. It's important to have a strong marketing foundation to build your business from.

The Marketing Foundation:

The Business: Differences, Competitive, New & Different, Unique Strengths, Customer Satisfaction

In House Sales & Service: Conversion rate, Product Knowledge, Expertise, Presentation, Selling Skills

Pricing: Value, Is the price right, Competitive

Merchandising: Uniforms, Signage, Print Materials & Website

Community: Giving back, Memberships, Networking

Advertising: Target Customer, Consistency, Reach & Frequency,
The right message. You could have the best advertising in the world but if it doesn't convert to sales due to poor customer service or lack of knowledge you are throwing your money away.

A marketing audit looks at all of these areas to see how strong your foundation is!

Moving back to "the good life"

Hello all!

It's been awhile since I have updated my blog. I have been busy packing and setting up office in Nebraska. Impact! Media & Marketing has expanded to Nebraska to better serve our Nebraska clients. I feel lucky and fortunate to be heading off the Nebraska project. Our goal is the same as always to make professional marketing & media buying affordable for small business.

I am originally from a small town in Nebraska of 900 people on a good day. All of my family is from the great state and of course I'm a Husker fan. I've been away for around 6 years living in North Carolina & Colorado but I'm really looking forward to getting back to "the good life".

We have an aggressive plan to grow and expand in the next few years creating professional jobs in rural areas of the state. I plan to personally be out there meeting with business. Helping small business & Marketing departments with their email campaigns, event marketing, online surveys, media buying & more.

Hello Nebraska-- I look forward to working with you!

How You Doin'?

Just wrapping up another long day! How's everyone in retail doing out there?

I've had the opportunity to speak with a few of my retail clients and they said that this Christmas season wasn't "as bad" as they had expected (sales wise)

I'm taking an unofficial survey of all the retailers I work with to see if their Christmas numbers were as good as they expected, as bad, or neither good or bad just what they expected. I would love to hear from you. Email me in general how everything went for you this season. Of course I don't need numbers or anything! : ) Just your general thoughts.

Positive news is always good to hear....send it on my way!

Burrrrr it's cold!

Well has everyone surveyed Christmas and the Blizzard that passed through Nebraska? I've heard all sorts of crazy stories from friends, family and co-workers about their Christmas 2009 storm survival story. One Friend was snowed in at a neighbors house less than half a mile down the road from home they tried a tractor and that also got stuck. Another friend that flew in from AZ drove 5 miles per hour from Omaha to St. Edward in hopes to see family for Christmas maybe crazy but she made it. And of course others with cabin fever ready to bust out of the house.Luckily, we were back in Nebraska the week before the storm hit and our place in Colorado didn't have as bad weather.Wishing everyone a happy new year. Stay warm and we'll be meeting with you soon to kick off 2010!
